Data Curation

HARMONY

THE PROBLEM

Oncology data exists in unstructured and disparate formats, reducing its usability. The current gold standard is for expert staff to manually process and curate this data, a tedious and error-prone task. Enter Harmony, Triomics’ EHR data curation tool, powered by OncoLLM. Harmony’s knowledge of specific oncology use cases efficiently provides accurate data, freeing up these clinically-trained staff for higher-value tasks.

OUR SOLUTION

Harmony is our EHR data curation tool, powered by OncoLLM. Its knowledge of specific oncology use cases efficiently provides accurate data, freeing up these clinically-trained staff for higher-value tasks.

Curate data for tumor registries

01

1. Curate data for tumor registries

While cancer registries provide a valuable public service, transferring mixed qualitative and quantitative EHR data into registry software is labor-intensive, prone to error, and demands clinical expertise. Harmony helps with this process, improving data accuracy and timeliness, saving costs and reducing burnout.

  • Automated curation of 50+ NAACCR variables.

  • Registrars reduce abstraction time by an estimated 80%.

  • Automated identification of reportable cancers with 60% reduction in effort.

  • Implementation of NAACCR standards, dictionary, custom data collection forms and CoC reporting requirements.

2. EDC Data Curation

We estimate implementing Harmony in a large system frees up the bandwidth of two full-time clinical research coordinators (CRCs for high value tasks). In turn, these staff can support more trials, and pivot from secretarial tasks to human-to-human interaction, increasing their impact and job satisfaction.

  • Supports multiple industry- and academia-leading EDCs.

  • CRCs reduce data entry time by an estimated 80%.

  • Up to 85% automation of oncology trial data entry, including data elements embedded in progress, pathology and radiology notes.

3. Curate data for precision oncology initiatives

Cancer centers invest significant resources in manually curating comprehensive clinical and genomics datasets for their precision medicine initiatives, and decision support algorithms. Harmony automates this curation while reducing cost.

  • Supports curation of any custom or on-demand data elements.

  • Can work with any datasets such as OMOP, i2b2 and others.
